Ever since I have gotten here Sam has been so mean to me. She put her pet rat in my locker. Replaced my mountain dew with pickle juice and not to mention she tried to die my hair purple. I walk into the Shay apartment finding Sam on the sofa eating her fat-cake and watching television. I turn my iMelody and see the song Sexy, Naughty, Bitchy me. God I love this song.
" Oh look, the british has come" Sam says sarcastically.
" Oh shut it Puckett" I say. Before I know it we get into a argument about America and England. In the corner of my eye I see Carly run down the stairs. She pulls me away from Sam.
" For once while I am brushing my hair can I not hear; tea this and hot dog that" Carly yells.  
" Sorry" Sam and I say in unison.
" Now look. Tonight we are having a sleep over cause there is one more month until Hazel goes bye bye. So I want all of us to get along" Carly exclaims. I pause the song. I look over at Sam.
" I promise I will stop arguing but I think you might need her's in writing" I say pointing at Sam.
" Hey! I am telling you right now Carly I will stop it" Sam says.
" Good, cause I hate how I am always in the middle" She grabs her bag that's on the table. " Now we get smoothies!"
" Hizah!" Sam and I proclaim like two kings.

At Groovy Smoothie

" Why do you always get the same smoothie Hazel?" Sam asks me.
" Cause I like the combo of chocolate and banana" I reply. " There is nothing as good as it"
" How about vanilla and strawberry?"
" Good combo but it's to……………original"
" Yah I see what you mean" Sam and I take another sip of our smoothies.
" Aw, look, we are all getting along" Carly says.
" Just wait for it" I reply.
" I hate how you always do that!" Sam yells.
" Do what?" I reply.
" You know!" Sam and I get into another heated argument but this time it was about smoothies and friendship and how they resemble each other. Carly is trying to stop it but is not succeeding. An old lady comes up and says " Oh shah! If you were just in each other's shoes you would understand to stop this nonsense" She throws something into the air which looked a lot like baby powder and then whispered " Midnight". She walks out of the Groovy Smoothie without saying a word but giving us an evil stare.
" She" I say.
" So" Carly says.
" Weird" Sam adds.

Sam

We walk back to Carly's trying not to pick a tooth with Hazel. She just listens to her iMelody. Once back at the apartment. We all find Freddie and Spencer watching god knows what.
" Freddork, why are you here?" I say.
" I was trying to find Hazel to tell her that my mom wants to go shopping with her but Spencer just got me addicted to Mythbusters" He replies.
" Does she still want to take me?" Hazel asks.
" Yah, more likely" He says with his eyes still glued to the television.
" Bye!" Hazel says slamming the door, leaving Carly and I to get the sleepover ready.

A hour later

Turns out the Mythbuster show is actually a marathon. Freddie has not moved from his spot from an hour ago. I sit on the stairs staring at him with lovey dovey eyes. He's so hot. Hazel is so lucky that she gets to be living in an apartment with him. Has she ever seen him without his shirt on? Oh dear god, she is so lucky! That's why I am jealous of her.
" I am back!" Hazel says slamming the door behind her. I jump up and stop my staring. " Sam?" Hazel says with a confusing look. She looks over to Freddie and then to me. " Sam, you? OMG!!!!!!!" She drops her bags filled with god knows what and grabs my hand pulls me up to the studio. " Give me the deets, when did it start?" She confronts me.
" What is this all about?" Carly asks. Apparently Hazel and I are not alone.
" Aaauuuhhhhh" The only thing that comes out of my mouth.
" She, wanted to know if, I ever meet Robert Pattinson" Hazel manages to pull out of her invisible magician hat.
" Yah"
" He's so hot!" Hazel says.
" Oh okay. Hey Hazel get your pajamas; so we can start the…….SLEEPOVER!" Carly says. Hazel nods her head and walks out the door. Carly and I go to her room where I borrow  some pajamas. Carly gives me shorts and a t-shirt. Carly and I get dressed head down stairs to get the junk food and sappy chick flicks. Hazel arrives wearing a purple pajama set. We head up and start watching chick flicks. Half way through the second one, I announce that if we don't do something else I will break the television. We take a break and make sundaes. As we walk down, we all find that Spencer and Freddie have fallen asleep. Freddie looks so cute sleeping. We make sundaes, head up stairs, and we fall asleep.  Hazel falls asleep on the floor. I end up falling asleep on the pink bean bag and Carly fell asleep on a pillow.  

The Next Morning

I wake up to see the floor. The wooden floor with a blanket on top of me. I look down at my hands and something is different. My nails have black nail polish on them and I am wearing Carly's flower rings. I find my hair and it's BLACK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
" AAAAAAAHHHHHHH!!!!!!!" I scream.
" What is going on?" I see my self say.
" Oh Shut it!" Hazel says. She looks up and declares " Give it back!" We are all standing in a circle realizing what is going on.
" Don't worry its just a dream. I have these kind all the time" Sam says. " Lets just wake up"
" Oh Okay" Hazel says. We all back up and slam into each other with our heads.
" It's not working!" I say. We all realize that we are in each other's bodies.
" Where is Hazel?" I ask. I see my self raise my hand. " Hazel, your in my body?!"
" Yah" Sam says nervously.
" Carly?"
" Here!" Hazel says.
" And that means, I am in Carly's body" I point to my self. We both scream in unison. We more likely woke Spencer and Freddie up cause we hear them run up the stairs.
" Give me it back!" Sam screams at Hazel. As I try to get Sam off Hazel. I just end up lying belly down on Sam's back holding on to Hazel's hair.  Spencer and Freddie come running in. Sam runs to Freddie like she always does but I can see the confused look on his face cause Hazel is in my body. Carly runs over to Spencer but he is also confused cause Hazel is hugging him.
" What is going on here?" Freddie asks with his arms open cause he doesn't know to hug Sam back.
" You want to know the truth?" I ask.
" Yah" He replies.
" That's Hazel"
" No, Hazel is hugging Spencer"
" Carly is because I am Sam" I say pointing at me.
" Okay, Sam only knows this, what shape is your butt?"
" A Ham" I say. He looks at me like a freak.
" Hazel, What color is my toothbrush?"
" It's light green, with a picture of a monster on it that is really not a monster" Sam says.
" This is freaky" Spencer exclaims.
" Join the club" Hazel says. Sam finally backs away from Freddie's open arms but stands by.
" Why do I have the strange urge to………" Before Sam could say another word I run over and slap my hand on top of her mouth. I whisper into her ear " It helps to punch him".

Carly

This is so freaky. Sam is in my body. I am in Hazel's body and Hazel is in Sam's body. It makes me scared. I look at my self on my right and Sam on my left. We have been sitting on the couch in the main room. Spencer has been trying to figure out how this happened but either of us can remember how this happened.
" Wait!" Sam says standing. " Do you girls remember that freaky old lady that said something about shoes, and midnight?!"
" Oh yes! Her!" I see my self say.
" You mean freaky old lady?" I say.
" Well at least we are on the same page" Sam says. We each scatter to our rooms and get dressed. I go up to my room and realize that this is going to be hard. I don't know if Hazel and I are in the same size range when it comes to clothes. I find some jeans and a blouse that fit and some flats. I run downstairs to find my self and Sam sitting there. Sam is wearing a skirt and a shirt with heels while I am wearing capris and a long sleeve.
" Are you guys ready to go?"
" Yep" Sam and my body say. We grab our bags and head over to the Groovy Smoothie. We walk in.
" Hey Tibo!" I yell. Tibo has burgers on a stick. He is behind the counter.
" What up girls? Would you like a burger?"
" No we don't a burger" I reply.
" Come on buy a burger!" Before I can ask him, my self jumps on to the counter and grabs Tibo's collar.
" We don't want a stink'n burgers! Now tell us where is the freaky old lady?"
" What freaky old lady?" Tibo asks. I pull my self on off Tibo. Tibo looks at my body like I am a total freak. Why does Sam have to have such a small fuse to her ticking time bomb.
" She is a regular. Always getting the strawberry and coffee smoothie. I call SC freak" Tibo says. " Oh look there she is" He points to her. She is wearing a outfit smiler to Magic Malika's but her hair is white with a green strip in it. She takes a seat and calls over Tibo. We follow Tibo. She sees that we are following Tibo. She stares at us.
" I 've seen you have some how learned your predicament" She says as we stand before her.
" Look lady. We don't like this one bit. Now help us!" Hazel says.
" I can't help with anything. You guys will change back when you realize that friendship is the key to life. You are stuck like this until you realize what it is like to be in your friend's shoes" She gets out of her seat and walks out of the Groovy Smoothie. We all look at each other. This is going to be hard.

Back At the Shay Apartment

We are doomed to life in each other bodies. Everyone knows Sam and Hazel can get along for 5 minutes and then start fighting.
" This is horrible" Hazel says.
" Well at least we didn't which bodies with Freddie or Spencer" Sam says.
" You know there right up stairs" Hazel replies.
" Read my lips. I. DON'T. CARE."
"evil" And swivels back to the computer. She turns back around. " I hate to say this but we should at least try to get to know each other a bit more" Hazel says questioning what she just said.
" Yah you guys. If you think of it, the creepy old lady said we have to see what its like in each other's shoes" I say.
" This is going to be hard" Sam says. " Let's start with the basics. Middle names, birthdays, favorite colors, what we look for in a guy, and the name of our style" I say.
" Oh I will go first." Sam says. " Georgina, November 16, black, boys who are normal who like to punch people, and tom-boy"
" Okay, Emilia, March 31, pink, him-self with a hint of funny and comfy with a bit of style" I say.
" I can't say" Hazel replies.
" Why can't you?" I ask.
" My middle name is kind of embarrassing"
" Come on" Sam says.
" Tell us. Say it" I say.
" Lucertia!" Hazel scrams out. Sam and I try to hold it in but we can't. We burst out laughing. " You know what I am just going to continue. August 7, purple, nerds that can dance, and classy with sparkle".
We end up talking all night long about old boyfriends and lonely old men who still live with their parents. We end up eating buffalo wings. Hazel almost burns her mouth making Sam and I laugh. We fall asleep on the couch and look forward to school tomorrow.

The Next Day

Freddie

The Girls have been starting to get along. Hazel refuses to sleep over at our house because if my mom found out she will put Hazel in the nearest mental institute. I stand at my locker and watch the girls come in. Sam is wearing a skirt and shirt with flats while Hazel is wearing corduroys and a blouse with black boots while Carly is wearing jeans and a t-shirt saying I Like my burger Meaty. It cracks me up. Sam is so cute. I haven't seem attracted to Carly lately. First I thought I liked Hazel but she is more of a sister but I realized that when ever I think of that night at the fire escape or Carly finding out about Sam and I kissing, it strikes me that I am in love with Sam. Its hard say it in my mind but it's also hard to say it out loud.  I have always wanted to ask her out but I can never bring up the cougar to. I just stare at her with my big eyes trying not to look like a dork.
" Hey Sam" I say to Sam but then realize I am talking to Hazel.
" What up Freddork?"
" Whats going on?" I ask.
" I'm trying to act more like Sam" She says winking.
" Well, your doing good. All you need now is a fat cake and eat it like nobodies business and your good" I smile and look over to Carly aka Sam. Sam might be in Carly's body but it doesn't change anything. I love Sam for who she is.

Back at Home

My mom has left to go to get whatever letting Hazel come to get some of her stuff. It creeps me out how she is in Sam's body. She just walks into the house and grabs her stuff and heads over back to Carly's but she comes back.
" Hey Freddie I need to tell you something" She says taking a seat next to me.
" Yah sure"
" I know Sam is going to kill me when I tell you this"
" What is it?"
" Well, whenever I see you a instinct from Sam's body comes over me"
" What is that instinct is that?"
" It's more of a urge not a instinct"
" Can you please get to the part when Sam is going to kill you for what you are about to say"
" Sam likes you"
" What?!"
" Sam likes you"
" Yah I know that but how?"
" I don't know but now I have a question for you."
" What?"
" Did you guys share a something like I don't know, a KISS?"

" Oh my gosh!" Hazel says standing up. " You kissed her! You sly little dog! I should have seen it coming!"
" I won't tell you the whole story but lets just say in the end. We kissed" I say.
" Ooo……You kissed a girl and you liked it!" Teasing me like she is a five year old as she takes a seat back down on the couch.
" I…………………………………………did like it"
" Oh my gosh! You both kissed and liked it but you can't admit your feelings" I have to say during the whole conversation it was a bit weird cause I was talking to Sam even though it was Hazel. I hate to admit it but Hazel is right. I have been using Carly as a cover up to my true feelings. First I liked her but then after the kiss my course for a girlfriend changed. I knew if Carly found out she will be happy that I am finally of her but it's the fact she is best friends with Sam and if I know girls well. Secrets=Tell your BFF.
" I got to go" Hazel says. She looks into my eyes. I look into Sam's deep blue eyes. Sam leans in and plants a kiss on my check. I want to kiss her back but she presses her pointer finger on my lips. " You have to wait lover boy. I am not the real deal" She walks out and I replay the moment in my mind. I was just ten seconds away from kissing the love of my life.

Hazel

Sam's going to kill me but I just made her life a whole lot easier. I walk into Carly's house. Sam and Carly are sitting on the couch with food. I take a seat with them. We watch a chick flick and eat. I look over to Carly and realize how Sam is loved but they have never been expressed towards her. I can feel my self in her shoes.

Sam

For the past two days and hours I have never felt more closer to Hazel and Carly. The morning when we found out we changed. I was the one in the middle trying to stop Hazel from killing Carly.  I watch the boy kiss the boy kiss the girl in the movie. I feel like crying. I haven't felt more like me. i watch how he kisses her passionately. A tear rolls from my eye. Hazel hugs me and says " I know what its like to be you"

Carly

BONDING MOMENT! It was a scene out of a movie that only I got to see. Sam and Hazel finally learning what it is like to be them. I have also realized what it is like to be Hazel. Hazel is always supposed to be perfect. I don't know how many times I have been stopped on the street in the past 48 hours and asked what I am wearing. I got at least two magazines with me dressed horrible and then yelled at by Hazel. I don't know how anyone can live her life without screwing it up. Hazel is a one of a kind of a girl that you meet very so often in your life. It makes me reflect on the moment in the room. I wrap my arms round my self (Sam) and join in the very few group hugs that we will have.

I close my eyes and let the tears roll down my face. I take a deep breath. I feel the rush of wind hit my face.

Hazel

I feel different. I don't want to open my eyes. I feel my legs covered with something. I open my eyes slightly and look down. Corduroys? Corduroys! I'm back in my body! My body, my perfect slightly fat body!!!!!
" Girls! Open your eyes!" Sam and Carly are still holding each other and they open their eyes out of nervousness and see that they are in their own bodies. Sam, Carly, and I all freak out. Were back! Sam looks down at her clothes and looks at me. She is about to kill me but she thinks twice and hugs me. We scream in joy.

The Next Day

I walk to my locker and watch Hazel go to her locker. She gives a glance to me. She walks to me.
" Hey Sam" Hazel says.
" Hey Hazel"
" I have to tell you something but its a secret"
" Yah sure, What is it?" I see her look behind me.
" Freddie has the hots for you" Did I just hear her correctly? Freddie. The nerdy Freddie has the hots. For me? I have loved him since the moment since we got it over with (not sex you perverts). I' m amazed I can't even speak. Hazel walks away with a  smile on her face.

Freddie

I watch Hazel talk to Sam as I stand by my locker. She walks away and comes my way.
" So, are you Hazel or Carly?" I ask.
" Well if I was Hazel then I would understand when I say, your welcome" In a soft voice and walks away. I grab her wrist.
" What did you say?"
" That a certain someone has the hots for a certain someone but that certain someone could not tell their feelings because they were to shy. So, your welcome" I let go of her wrist and let her walk away. She's good. I look over back to Sam. She is now talking to Carly in front of the stair way. I gulp. The moment of truth. Don't be a wimp Freddie. This is your time to shine. I walk over to the stair way with confidence.
" Can I talk to you?" I ask Sam pulling her away from Carly.
" If you want to tell me something Freddie, you can tell me in front of Carly" Why me? I didn't do anything bad. I just want to ask Sam out without being embarrassed. I take a deep breath and look into Sam's ocean blue eyes.
" I love you" I say putting it out there. Sam doesn't say a word. Her mouth is wide open with shock. I wait for a reply. I wait for like 5 seconds. I get nervous. I am about to walk away but she grabs my face and kisses me. I don't break away. My eyes are closed imagining us in a white room. Our tongues meet. I feel her wrap her arms around my neck. I wrap my arms around her back. Moving my hands to her waist. I don't know how we have been making out for but I can hear the clicks of cameras going off. I imagine that tomorrow this will be all over the school paper. Nerd falls for bad girl. We break from the kiss.
" What does that mean?" I ask Sam making her giggle.
" You should know" Sam says kissing me back. Continuing from where we left off.

I have taken a big circle around the school back to my locker next to the stair case. First I think I see a scene out of a chick flick on a large screen but I check. Sam and Freddie are making out. I walk past saying " Your welcome"
